Registration Charges
The registration of NSIC is based on the basis of turnover of the business as per the audited balance sheet of an entity such as:
A: If Turnover is less than Rs 1 crore
All micro enterprises having a turnover of less than one crore having charges of Rs 3000 as a cost of registration and for a small enterprise whose turnover is less than one crore is Rs 5000.
B. If Turnover is more than 1 crore
All micro enterprises having a turnover of less than one crore having a charge of Rs 3000 plus additional fees of Rs 1500 for each Crore of his additional turnover. Whereas small enterprises having a turnover of less than one crore having charges of Rs 5000 as well as additional fees of Rs 2000 for each crore of his additional turnover.
Procedure for registration
An applicant who wants to get registered in NSIC can obtain his registration by applying online or by submitting an application to the nearest NSIC office where the registered office of an entity is located. On the submission of the application, the NSIC department forwards the application to its zonal branch as well as their sub-branch office near to the registered office of an applicant for the competition of various technical inspections as well as forwarding for a recommendation in NSIC.

Renewal
The registration certificate is valid for 2 years and can be renewed every two years by following the procedure. It’s required to examine continuous commercial and specialized skills of the registered MSME in manufacturing or producing the items for which it has been enlisted by NSIC.
Renewal under NSIC is filled physically by presenting the recommended application alongside the endorsed application charges with the concerned division. The expense depends on the net sales turnover as per the latest audited balance sheet.
