Time gap has been relaxed between two board meetings or audit committee meetings
Regulation 17(2): The board of executives shall meet at least four periods a year, with a extreme interval break of one hundred and twenty days between any two meetings.
Regulation 18(2)(a) says that the audit committee shall meet atleast four times and not more than one hundred and twenty days shall elapse between two meetings in a year.
Relaxation provide to the board of directors and audit committee of the listed entity to ensure the stipulated time gap between two meetings for the meetings held or proposed to be held for the period December 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020. The relaxations are limited to the said period only and will not extend further until further notifications by the SEBI.
